I notice that central Greeks cluster more southward than Peloponnese Greeks. Is there a logical explanation?

Pontic and Anatolian refugee settlement could be one.
So depends which populations of Central Greece were tested.

That’s a good assumption. But if that were the case then northern Greece would also plot near central Greece, but it’s not.

Because there is no genetic or geographical basis for the Central_Greek sample on Eurogenes. There is no such thing as "Central Greece". It's an average consisting of Mainlanders, Islanders, Pontians, and Smyrniots. Smyrniots, Apulians, and Southern Albanians can often cluster around there.

Both you and Anaximander are autistic as hell and cannot be bothered to do 2 minutes of googling.

I would like to read where you get this specific information. Send a link?

From what I remember the central Greek reference was from Athens and was a mix of different regions including islanders and Asia Minor Greeks.

So if we were to exclude Athens, I would assume that central Greece is plotted around the same area as Thessaly.

And would you happen to know if the “northern Greece” reference was from Thessaloniki or other major cities? Because if so, i’m surprised that the northern Greece reference is not also plotted near central Greece or even more south considering the amount of Anatolian Greeks in Thessaloniki (Pontics/Cappadocians).

Central Euboea also preserves a pretty high amount of Roman era Greek ancestry.
