I think for the ancient ancestry part "mytrueancestry" is a good way right? But DNA test providers do they accept? which one would you recommend? Now i have mixed feelings about some company having my DNA and i dont know what they do with it etc. Also i am scared that a DNA Test could show some genetic errors that would make more me more subsceptible for certain disorders or cancer, diabetes etc. As i already have hypochondric tendencies and that could make it worse. Are there companies that just test my ancestry and not the whole package so to say?

What testing company would you suggest? And what happens with my data?

I don't know exactly what happens with the data (hopefully nothing or not much) but I do know standard ancestry tests like FTDNA or MyHeritage do not provide any health reports. You can actually order a Family Finder from FTDNA for $59 only (Valentine's Day sale). It's like €51.

i would just want to do this for myself, i dont wanna connect with others etc. I would mostly just be curious how much celtic, germanic etc. i am

So can i do a DNA Test with myheritage and then upload the results to mytrueancestry? does this work with all providers?

Any dna test will tell you about ur ancestry as long as you upload it to Gedmatch to get more info and use it with Vahaduo.
Not sure why people are worried about data being hold on by someone, they can t clone you xD,neither can they get anything valuable from it.
When it comes to companies who focus on ancestry or health insights, there are many.
Id recomment ancestry test like 23andme,Ancestry,Myheritage,all those are okay for raw data you re gonna get.

it just sounds so complicated xD I really have no idea how that would look like and what to upload etc. is there something i should take in mind when taking the test, is there something i could do wrong or make the result become invalid? Its tested with saliva right?

I suggest 23&me. They provide paternal and maternal haplogroups, Neanderthal ancestry variants.

myheritage wont provide haplogroups? do i need these haplogroups for mytrueancestry?

AncestryDNA is the best choice if you want the best possible data to use for GEDmatch/Vahaduo, lot's of relative matches.

23andMe gives arguably the most accurate assessment of your recent ancestry - and their algorithm handles mixed ancestry well.

All the other companies are a step or two behind these two, it seems.

Don't worry about complications with uploading/interpreting MyTrueAncestry/GED/Vahaduo etc. I will help and advise you, as I'm sure many others here will as well.

23andme or ancestrydna are good starts; however they test modern dna, but they are both good sources for raw data. I prefer 23andme because it gives haplogroups, trait reports (eye & hair color probability, etc), Neanderthal variants, etc., and it doesnt give u health stuff unless you upgrade. From there you can play with GEDmatch, but most importantly get G25 coords. FTDNA is good for haplogroups, but their autosomal sucks. Mytrueancestry and myheritage also suck.

Also if you're worried about your dna, they already have it.
