I will never understand the overestimation of Baltid-ness in Germany.

It's a minority element even in East Germany.

Correct but Germans do have an eastern tendency, just not as major as in Poland.

I'd say he should be classified as simply Nordic.

In his youth his eyes looked 0% Baltic.

Plus reddish-brown hair made me think of Keltic.
