According to his ancestry this is somehow strange that he looks Nordid. He should look a little bit Armenoid. But he looks like Central European because Polish Jews don't look like Jews from Israel because they are mixed with Europeans.

Vartan is Armenian name, the surname is Vartanyan, they shortened it taking away visible Armenian ending (yan/ian).

Only recently they edited wiki and added Bulgarian ancestry. She has always been known to us as Armenian/Hungarian from Bulgaria.
