I think he did it around New Years. I'm not 100% sure actually.

My mother tested with Myheritage and not with 23andme, so we can't compare it unfortunately.

Your mom gets a lot of regions for Poland, and exclusively the eastern half, but at a low level of certainty (possible match). Hmm, I wonder if it's some deeper Slavic link, maybe she has a number of matches at very low level, 10cM range, and these segments are deeper and more common among Slavic peoples, but do not actually indicate a real familial link? So in other words, she has a deep, and minor Slavic heritage, something common in people from her area of Germany, and that is what we are seeing here. For her brother it was just a little too weak to pick up the link. I'm talking outta my ass right now, but I have no better ideas.
