The question is somehow irellevant. Because you are asking what ethnics/religion you would like to live with, but the question is rather in which country would you live.
Any smart person would chose France and that's only because of economical reasons and quality of life.

European Russia because i'd rather live where my roots are. But to be honest, I would rather have my children grow up in France. Russia is a very toxic environment that breeds angry & bitter people.

My city has increasingly more migrants from "European Russia" still it's not included there. OK :)

I choose Russia, but southern areas, because of milder climate.
So Rostov-on-Don, for example.

Easy, Iran. I always enjoyed reading about the rivalry that the Persian empire had with the Greeks. I would also be able to Larp pretty easily there, all I need to do is grow my beard and trim the sides to give me that elegant Cyrus the Great side profile.

The place where you live does not belong to European side, and culturally not even European Russia. :)

That's a tough one: France is the worst european country, Russia got no future and Iran is muslim... I guess if you put a gun to my head I'd choose a french town on the spanish border.

I prefer death.
The French are obnoxious people who want to fuck your 13 year old daughter.
Russia is a dysfunctional society.
Iran is gay for a barbaric religion.

I agree with the part about culture, but those culturally foreign migrants come here too fast to assimilated into Kubanoid culture properly :) In my city alone Putin build housing for many hundreds of thousands of them to double the size of the local population. Check these beautiful buildings:

But geographically my region is certainly in Europe. And concerning genetics Moscow should be more Asian than Krasnodar by now.

Same here. People can say that Russia is a shit hole compared to Western Europe and bla bla bla, but I prefer it a thousand times over living in a fucked up multicultural place like France.
I would also prefer living in southern Russia (in Volgograd or a place like that) than in central or Northern Russia (too cold). Volgograd's climate must not be very different or much colder in winter, compared to the climate I'm living in (Ohio).

I agree. If living in France, I would also live far from the most multicultural French cities, and very likely would prefer to live close to the border with Spain (somewhere in the outskirts of the Pyrenees).

To the south of European Russia
In France, Alsace. Strasbourg is one of most beautiful cities I've ever seen and Rhine is incredible in Alsace. I'm partly Alsatian too.
Outside of migrant ghettos in big cities France is among countries with highest living quality in the world and their countryside is amazing.
In Russia I'd pick Siberia, but that's not an option here. I feel great attraction towards Siberia.

I will build a summerhouse onlooking Lake Baykal. You are always welcome to visit me there.

a smaller town in France, where there's no criminality.
but if the question is about cities alone, I'd choose Russian city over French city, something like Rostov, Krasnodar or even Vladivostok.
living in Romania I am already used to corruption unfortunately, it would not be a culture shock

European Russia, hands down. France, if and only if the French Basque region is in question.
