Just eliciting opinions. I personally don't take anthropology seriously at all. I just remember Ronan O'Gara was classified as Anglo-Saxon and he is very similar facially to the man of this thread.

I guess Hallstatt Nordid fits all too nicely. How typical/atypical is he in Leinster, Grace? I am assuming that his type is virtually void anywhere west though. But yeah, aside from eastern England, I can see him as a Norwegian (but DEFINITELY not a Dane or a Swede).

I wouldn't know how typical he would be but I doubt there wouldn't be any like him in the west. He's an Irishman so it's not like similar Irishmen couldn't be found in other parts. The same with someone like Colin Farrell or Darren O'Dea who are also native Irishmen. People appear to think that populations don't produce certain phenotypes which is kind of illogical to me. There are some people that you would know are not native but it's obvious all populations have a range of looks.

Looks like he is within the Anglo-Saxon spectrum but rather go with Troender (Brunn + Hallstatt + Corded), not that there is much difference anyways. Resembles best the early Saxon and Alemmanic graves.
