No, they have quite a peasant sort of alpine look, they look foreign as a group for Hungary though most can pass. A lot also pass quite well in northern Spain

They are Moldavian Hungarians (Csangos) from the village of Săbăoani (Szabófalva) in today Neamț County. Today they are totally romanized, but they are still mostly Catholic till today. They are part of northern branch of Cangos, genetically they are more northern and western shifted judging by their results. Some exotic swarthy tipes between them is probably due to high Turkic genetic influence they have.

The Csángós are a sub-group of Hungarians, which live outside the borders of historical Hungary.

I suppose that individually for most of them - yes. The pigmentation altogether is very similar but facial features differ more.

Depends, the girl in the middle in the last photo is the only one who looks dubious to me, could be Gypsy, they exist in that area. Is hard to say due to quality of the picture, despite the resolution is not small.

A few of them look more Asian than the vast majority of Turks. But still I don't think the average Csango is more than 4% East Eurasian.

Only few exotic ones could pass as Turks, rest ones no, I know how your kind look on average, since I meet enough Turks and this youth as a group don't look like them. Balkan Turks are mostly turkified Balkanites with some turkic influence, so not surprised of some overlap.

These ones from this area have higher East Eurasian influence, up to 8%. At the same time they are very northern, some of them have 30% NA and 30% Baltic, which make them close to Hungarians from Hungary.

Blond guy, I find his look more Central Euro Slavic/Germanic, he don't strike me as a ethnic Russian.

More eastern of today MD they don't look as a group. They will fit perfectly between such group of Moldovans, since they are very similar in term of phenotype and pigmentation.

Some pictures from local church. I find people from these village more lighter and northern looking than surrounding Romanian Moldovan population. I barely see any Greek looking type between them.
