I don’t know much about this group, so I am no authority on their family histories.My deep paternal side is German from this region, so it has a bit of significance to myself and my paternal background. I see what some of you are saying: some men in this video look very southern German. It could be that this is a German folk band that has band members from different parts of Germany and elsewhere and in this video, are paying homage to a traditional Mecklekburgish tune.

Apparently they’re based out of Rostock....but there’s another thing: NE Germany, not given recent decades even, after the eastern germanification process saw much movement from NW Germany, Swabia, and even from the Flemish. It’s possible some southern-shifted looking Mecklenburgers are local from generations and generations back.

He is a very blond, golden-haired Nordic of relatively great body size, with all lateral dimensions of the head and face broadened by Borreby mixture; the morphological features of the head and face, however, remain essentially Nordic.

Fig. 3 (3 views). An equally blond specimen of the same type from Hannover, made much more brachycephalic through a reduction in head length. Undeniably Germans look more or less similar in most regions to each other, so not a big surpise to me.

I would wager half of these guys are southern German, surely they can't all be local. VERY Norid orientated, with some Alpines thrown in there as well. I don't see many Borrebies. The woman looks Anglo-Saxonish, no doubt about it.

Most of the fair haired Germans Ive met were mostly Norid-ish. Ive only been to southern and central germany tho.

Are you mental? People preforming this type of songs (Mecklenburg my homeland) will sure not be "southern German". They are locals.

Mecklenburg is in the north therefore every local is a Faelid. Everyone else is from the south silly!!
