I came across this today - I don't think I've seen it posted before. It seems some Flemish-American's been hard at work collecting material, so go to his site and have a look!
http://flemishamerican.blogspot.com/
Dedicated to chronicling and recording the contributions of the Flemish diaspora to the Americas and the World. Natuurlijk, from the viewpoint of an avowed and died-in-the-wool Flemish American.
I was looking for just such a map as this;
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/__9OOS_Sr1Gk/SUQEYuc2A0I/AAAAAAAAAW8/gN4wnfnsDOQ/s1600-h/400px-LittleEngland.jpg
- showing the Englishries in the Gower, and the Flemish plantations in Pembrokeshire - 'Little England Beyond Wales'.
And Damn, I was going to send him a link with the painting of the Flemish weaver immigrants in Manchester Town Hall, but he's already got it! Very thorough! :thumb001:
