Yes, you are correct, I am an Ottoman Greek/Byzantine survivor.

My father's folks were Phanariote/Ottoman public servants and my mother's local Black Sea Rums.

My children plot like (north) Italians if I remember correctly. They look like their mom but they have med eyes and med noses.

My father is blond/blue eyed nordid (extremely doli). My mother is typical brachy (asiatic) alpine-med. Both my families are light skinned, I said on another thread, my Pontic family are the original Pontic highlanders of Kromni, the homeland of the proto-kartvelian Macrones that Herodotus and Xenophon wrote about, all my family and the majority of the original settlers of their village, have the archetypal look of NE Anatolia/Black Sea, pale skill, raven black hair and hawkish armenoid or alpine noses.

Cool. The Northeast is my favorite part of Turkey. Plotting around Northern Italy makes sense, though I would still expect them to score a bit more Caucasus than a typical Italian would. Your father seems to be (comparatively) strongly Slavic, someone like North Macedonians.

My father is typical Arvanitovlach of Thrace, meaning with a bit of Anatolian, maybe Turkish/Gagauz thrown in there(?), and a semi mysterious (Persian(?)) haplo.
