A good thread idea is to question who do we trust the least, our governments or our media news outlets.

Maybe it is a trick question, they are often one and the same.

To be honest I don't think any of these terrorist plots have been made up, simply massively blown out of proportion, the police probably have an endless supply of muslim plonkers under surveillance who sit around fantasising about various terrorist outrages they could never pull off, and whenever the government needs to scare the population they just arrest a bunch of them.
