I think the nevertheless high distance to Greeks is caused by the big genetical difference between your other elements (abt. 70%) and Greek. Even Germanics and Slavics - as north-of-the-alpes populations - will have a number of basic things in common that are not shared with Greeks.

I think France is the average of all french regions. And they currently have a lot of southern references like Bigorre, Bearn or Chalosse. I think Switzerland has the same color for me. Auvergne looks to be somewhat southern too.

My autosomal results are rare. Aside from the Amerindian component, it shows the greatest affinity with Turkic peoples that settled in Russia and Udmurts (a Finnic ethnic group) when compared to samples from all over the world.

Yeah, but you can see that they dried up the lake Ladoga, so there will be some area in exchange. Maybe the Russians from Northern East Prussia can go to the the Ladoga and the Dutch can go to Northern East Prussia.

Do you have any examples of Acadian or Cajun maps? They seem to plot too far northeast in G25.

Since my aunt is the oldest alive member of my paternal line and due to our obscured family origins, ph2ter did an experiment trying to reconstruct my grandfather's profile by substracting aunts G25 from grandmas G25.
This is just an approximation which should not be taken for granted, but outcome is interesting.

I reversed the value because in the heat of the moment I could not see so clearly if there was any difference in tone between me and my father.

It seems to be slightly closer to the Balkans and in general from Iberia-France to the East. Also with Iceland there is a slight pitch difference.

Most interesting for me is to see the Ukraine the same shade of orange as French/France. I would not have suspected that prior to my DNA research, but it makes sense and is consistent for my tests often showing large or even largest % from Russia and the eastern side of Europe, including Ancient Latvia and Lithuania, Moldova also. I wonder if they all worked their way into Czech Unetice?
