They are quite different photos to compare. Although they look quite similar. I would say that 1 Galician and 2 Portuguese (rather because of the Portuguese elegance)

Thanks, it can be a challenge getting photos, some really good clear pictures but the location was given away by either architecture or some writing in the local language in the background

Only people who are too focused on language can think they are one and the same. But even the languages are different. So are a lot of surnames.

Hard to say, both groups are darker than colonial brasilians on average.

i think nr 1 are Galicians

btw 2nd pic- you see greatly the range of "Med" from right first row- first guy on the very right corner a rather robust with a squarrish jaw Med, next to him a rather infantil featured while next to him a "finer" feautured type.

The pics are very different to compare and imo both look Portuguese. I don't dare to say which is which.

First: young portugalicians
Second: elder portugalicians

You should have compared people with similar age, as I think the first are galicians, here young portugueses to help:

The guy on the second pic at the right with glasses looks like the British born news reporter Asad Ahmad from Pakistan, quite atypical for Iberia but he seems to be local judging by the homogeneity of the crowd.

But i will say. The comparison pic is so bad. Youre comparing old portuguese to young galicians. The galicians easily could be Portuguese as well. But for sake of the question I still knew #1 was Galicians. Even tho they could be pt easily, i sense a spanish vibe

Correct brother, sorry i could only get Portuguese uncles and aunties but the school or college pics from Portugal i could find easily either had Portuguese writing in the background or obvious clues that it was Portugal and not Spain i.e architecture or multiple Blacks and mullatos in the group.

The t-shirts of one color confused me, because we do the same here. And each college or course has its color:
