Ukrainian surnames are speard between Russians, just like Russian surnames are spread between Ukrainians (except western Ukraine). Having "ko" or "uk" in the end of surname does not make someone automatically Ukrainian, just like "ov" and "in" won't make anyone automatically Russian. Dmitry Kramarenko is ethnic Russian goalkeeper who lives in Moscow, born in Baku and played for russian football clubs and Azeri national team (now he's goalkeeper coach in CSKA Moscow) his wife is Azeri.
