Looks very "American white" in the first few photos. Looks more Southern European in the image after that and more North Indian desi in the last. Very, very atypical desi!

I just found on Wiki a film he was in - Badhaai Do. Now, compare him to the other male actors, especially taking into account the colourism in Bollywood:

To me, Bollywood is much more "colourful" these days, than it was in the past. Most of the big female stars are conventionally brown.
The whole colourism thing is overblown in Bollywood. South India seems to positively celebrate it, like a localised version of blacked.com with North Indian women and local, dark "heroes".

I still think that lighter-skinned actors are at least a little over-represented, such as Hrithik Roshan and Neil Mitin Mukesh. Anyway, my point is that, for both Bollywood and especially 'regular' Indians, the OP actor is extremely atypical.
