Maghrebis do have a lot of SSA influence, Muslim Palestinians as well.

Almost all NA have quite high SSA. The highest SSA in muslim Palestinians is 7-8%, while Maghrebis around 15-30% it goes higher or lower it depends on the city ,Also Egyptians many r 15-25% but most northern Egyptians are less than 10%.

They all used to have much less, like close to 0% before the slave trade and the subsequent absorption of SSA DNA.

Original Berbers were Eurasians who arrived to North Africa from Southern Europe and the Levant 12000 years ago so of course unmixed Berbers are fair skinned and white. Examples include the Kabyles and Riffians. It’s not until the Arab slave trade began that many became darker and more African influenced. Examples include the Sahrawi and Tuaregs.
