My mums first cousin tested, she is suppossed to descendt from the same half russian grandmother. She is suppossed to be 1/8 Russian like my mum, and Im suppossed to be less but 1/16.

Do you think her elevated baltics and the little germanic proves her russian heritage? What is your opinion, I have no germanic and only 2% Baltic. She has 13% Baltic and 3% Germanic.

But she is also less Balkan since I have recent serb ancestry on my paternal side and more indian then me. So less european, but more russian.

"Proves" is likely too much said, but it supports it, yes.

She seems more Gypsy than you and closer to the Russsian part as well.

I'm not sure but both you and she do deviate from Bulgarian Gypsies (which I usually choose for examination as I consider them least European admixed and most "original) by having a very low proportion of Iran/Anatolia. Bulgarian Gypsies do have something like 30% India, 50% Iran/Anatolia and 20% Balkan/Greece. Compared to this this your folks' Gypsy prortion seem more like a direct import from India that then has mixed much more with Balkan/Greece and kind of jumped over Iran/Anatolia.

I think there are still some historical interesting things to unveil.

Did you compared ancestrydna of bulgarian gypsies with ours or you talk about vahaduou g25 or k13? If so that is not comparable
