Calculator recommendation for me

Hi guys, how are you? Could someone point me to a good g25 calculator for ancient ancestry? because of my SSA blood in many calculators I end up getting +40% NA, so I would like to test one that knows how to differentiate SW Euro + SSA from NA, all recommendations are welcome, thanks.:joy

You could try the modern African American calculator by Barbara on DNAgenics.com under G25 studio. Don't know any ancient ones

Looks cool, generally i only got Yoruba, but 28% North Africa is insane, generally i got like: 40% Sardinian + Basque and in max 10% of NA, i guess its not rly accurate but ty for recommendation, its cool try new calculators

Yeah, sorry, I am only an expert on Western and NorthWestern Euro calcs since that is my heritage. I am pretty sure yourdnaportal is going to be better than illustrativeDNA for this. G25 has a global focus and African yourdnaportal calculator is hyperfocused etc...

Yeah, but it looks you are using simulated G25 coordinates rather than the real deal. That probably has something to do with it.

No problem, I really appreciate the recommendation, but on the other hand I didn't know about these calculators from DnaGenics and I'm testing several, apparently here my dna steppe is normally 12% - 15%, in the g25 vahaduo it's usually no more than 10%, curious

Ye i am using the simulated from K36, i will buy my real g25 from Illustrative in soon, maybe 3 or 2 days, looking forward to being able to use more calculators in a more accurate way:wink

Not sure but if you did not check the aggregate box it could be over fitting you maybe and that could throw off the prior calc results too maybe I dunno.

I am new with g25, what "aggregate box" means? and i am calculating with "no extra distance", not sure what this means lol
