Taiwan has Negrito legends which Austronesian came to the island and there was a dispute and Austronesians killed Negritos,As well known,There were two kind of Negritos,Haplogroup D was taken the northern route to Japan and never visited taiwan,The only option left is haplogroup K(MSP) Negritos,And DNA test proved that,That some Negritos Y haplogroup left in native Taiwanese indigenous peoples:
Amis(1/39),Bununs(1/56),These are remnants of Negritos in legend in Taiwan,And there is no other K branchs other than haplogroup P in these samples,suggests they made the route from Philippines to Taiwan,And to China,became the ancestors of QR populations.

It's fascinating to me how a Siberian haplogroup manages to become one of a tropical people/race... One race that diverged like 50,000 years ago and was supposed to be super isolated.

While in a couple of millenia they keep evolving to a blonde sample(Mal'ta), as well as Native Americans.

There are 16 recognized Austronesian ethnicities in Taiwan and all have similar legends about Negrito ancestors. So you could say Taiwan still has communities of their descendants (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiwanese_indigenous_peoples). But in a phenotypical sense they seem quite diluted by now, the Sinid influence from Mainland China has been massive throughout history, and it shows.

Once upon a time, they probably used to be similar to Negritos of the Philippines, where to this day some appear very Negrito:
