I always thought Jamaicans (and other African-Americans) felt West African. I know a guy who is Jamaican and black, with a few euro traits (probably the nose, don't remember exactly).

I find it interesting because of the history of Jamaica and have always been curious what sort of results they get. I'll post more if I run across them.

Yes, and I remember they were a British colony previously, like Canada?
I'm eager to hear more from you :D

Yes the British and before that Spanish. They have had immigration from Asian (Indian, Chinese), Middle Eastern and also Europeans such as Germans as well as people from Britain and Ireland. They most likely will have some Taino ancestry which is why some of them get that Indigenous/South American results. The ones above are overwhelmingly African with Nigerian appearing as the biggest amount.

It's not a name I'm familiar with but Bob's father is English. His father was Norval Sinclair Marley.
Some of his family tree is here.

Surname looks to be primarily English. Here is some info from Ancestry about the name.

More information about the Marley surname.
There are Marleys in Ireland that originate from Ó Mearthaile. But it is mostly English and Bob Marley's father is English and not of Irish origin.
