Yea. These "Lithuanian" surnames with endings like -auskas or -vicius are really funny because these are actually Polish surnames (in this case Gutauskas = Gutowski), though artificially altered so Lithuanians could pretend they don't have any ties to Poland anymore...

As for classification, I think he fits very well into the "Pre-Slavic" type, though he is also somewhat dinaricized as you have noticed...
