Lol, the Nanny - I had completely forgotten about Fran Drescher and that show, watched it sometimes like 15 years ago or something. Other old favorites (kid's taste!):
Salatut Elämät, Marienhof, Derrick, Ein Fall Für Zwei, Die Alte,Emmerdale :D, Die Schwarzwaldklinik, Ask Jeeves, Matlock, Prince of Bel Air, Bill Cosby show etc etc. And of course Weird Science!

The show I anticipate the most weekly at the moment is Fringe, although it just started the winter break. I also watch Revenge, Dexter(still behind a season and a half; absolutely no time to watch the hour long episodes), Community, How I Met Your Mother and Supernatural. I tend to watch all of these online since I usually don't have the time nor the patience during commercials to watch when they air.

I kind of have a bias toward science fiction/fantasy/adventure shows because other serials seem to rely too much on popular culture or social interactions, which I'm usually not up-to-date with. Furthermore, I have a very focused imagination based around science and I generally enjoy learning specialized even if irrelevant, language. I like shows that make me think or analyze.

I also watch a ton of documentaries; I love them. I can absorb so much new knowledge from a documentary. My current favorite is Through the Wormhole.

Reality shows absolutely confuse me. So you won't find me watching any of these at all.

I don't much care for TV shows anymore. I do still like "South Park," "Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia," and "Parks & Recreation," but I never seem to catch any of the episodes anymore. The only show I watch with any regularity, other than for the KELO local (Sioux Falls) news broadcast, is "The McLaughlin Group."

I had intended to watch the new AMC series "Hell on Wheels," but I missed the premiere, and haven't bothered to go back and view it.

Are they any good? I have heard a lot (good stuff) about the good wife, Gifted man, and Prime suspect seem nice (though no show will ever beat NCIS in the homicide-related :p)

I saw the first season of that, too. It was OK, but I wasn't persuaded to watch season two. Too much of a PC, Southern minstrel show for my tastes. I'm surprised the main character doesn't refer to his woman as "mah wife. :rolleyes:

I've only learned of this series very recently; and after watching parts of only two episodes, I've come to like it. :) The subject matter is right up my alley (so to speak), it's a good drama, and the actors and actresses are generally good-looking folks (some of the actresses are physically exquisite and a delight to behold). I highly recommend this to anyone interested in getting a 'feel' (albeit fictional) for the First World War homefront in England. :) Frankly, it makes me wish I'd been born of that generation and place rather than my own. (:-|

Just finished watching the 1st season of Stranger Things. Good storyline.I like that it's set in 80's in a fictional town of Indiana and Winona Ryder is always a plus. I think the show is good but I don't see what the big fuss is all about. Maybe I feel that way because I really didn't feel any connection with any of the characters maybe it will get better for me as the show moves on. I remember Game of Thrones wasn't really all that good to me after watching the first season. Maybe season 2 will grab me.

I am watching Altered Carbon. First two episodes were quite boring for me, but its futuristic imagery and vibrant colours kept me interested. But episode 3 was great already.

Ultimately my favorite right now is Dark on Netflix. Probably the most original series I have seen in some time. I recommend English subtitles instead of dub. The show loses its pull if you don't watch it in German. That is just me though.

Dark is my #1 at the moment. For a show dealing with time travel, theres very little if any plot holes. Quite an original show. I wonder how season 3 will end it all. Being time runs in a circle and they really can't change anything.

Dark is my #1 at the moment. For a show dealing with time travel, theres very little if any plot holes. Quite an original show. I wonder how season 3 will end it all. Being time runs in a circle and they really can't change anything.

Yea. Lost was great but went on too long and introduced so many concepts that it really didn't know how to wrap it up. While the final episode was a cop out, it did well enough at least providing somewhat of a satisfying conclusion. I like how the meaning of Winden connects to that of Wend as well as the concept of traveling in the show. I wonder if Adam is actually who we are told or if there is some other big twist. Could very well be him though. If he took the name Adam, he must have his Eve. Which could be alternate Martha?

Also, I don't believe Peter is a Doppler either. We never see Helge with a woman, and after his injury and car accident he basically becomes mental. Peter also moved to Winden conveniently in 86' as well.

I decided to stop at the 1st season because for me it was the perfect ending and I heard the second season was already not so good... decided to stay with a good impression! seems like I did the right choice!

If you want something relaxing and not too complicated, I'd say go for Emily in Paris! It's cliché and exagerated but there's some truth in it as someone who lives here! and knowing both French and American cultures, I laughed sooooo much !

Or something a little bit more horrific : the Haunting of Hill House, it was excellent! than Haunting of Bly Manor...

Looks like there is going to be some added political intrigue and complexity to story line compared to Mandalorian. Interesting to see which old character(s) going to pop up in coming episodes. I've finished watching Rings Of Power.

It sucked. What a waste, what an abomination.

The only redeeming qualities were sometimes the visual side, the script was nonsensical and the acting oftentimes wooden. The lore itself was largely overlooked.
