Proto Latins looked like North Italians and Iberians genetically. I'm talking about the Republican era. During the Imperial era many Greeks, Syrians and Jews settled in the Italian peninsula.

Cool; but I'm not sure if OP is referring to that, but to the Celto-Latin Italian peninsula(beginnings of Alba Longa), or even earlier, pre-IE or pre-Etruscan? OP specifies please, I would also like to see old samples
