As I don't know how such a map would look like, I can not even with confidence determine that it would not look alike. Maybe China would not be the biggest foreign investor in Algeria. But who knows?

I'm pretty sure your map is outdated and the number 1 spot for almost all of Europe is China.

Possibly by volume of imported goods could be China, but by monetary value of what is imported, it is possible that this data does not vary much.
