Okay, it does look like her now that I've watched the youtube video. It didn't look like her in the group photo. But it may also be someone who has a similar appearance.

It's definitely worse for women as they get more pressure from society. Men can get away with stuff like that more easily (though not smooth at all of course)

For sure in poor country's it might be understandable.

I've read that both have difficulties being in a normal relationship because of their past. That's why many of them end up marrying someone in the porn industry (which never works out). A few of them become very religious or counselors.

If I were a porn star, I'd have a specific appearance that I could later change when I decide to retire. I'd also modify my voice (deeper or lower) during filming. That way, when someone comes up to me in the mall and says, "Aren't you Bigus Dickus?! The greatest male porn star who has totally banged 10,000 women?!" I'd say, "You have the wrong guy," and it'll appear credible because I'd appear so different.

Unless the male performer is notable like a John Holmes or Rocco Siffredi, most male porn actors are probably quickly forgotten about and go unoticed in public.

For the most part porn is about the female, hence why they are called "pornstars".
For example porn is one industry where in general the female performers are paid much higher than the male performers.

Unless the male performer is also the label owner and producer like Rocco Siffredi then generally porn actresses come out of the industry doing much better financially than the male performers.

Is it worse for women post porn : not necessarily, a few have ventured into mainstream acting, others write books or sell their stories in various interviews or media publications etc.
If they feel ashamed or embarassed about their past porn work they just blame it on some ex boyfriend "who made them do it ", or traumatic background etc.
