Have you tried Illustrative DNA? What did you get on it? I have no term of comparison so I don't know if other Iberian members are getting similar results.

U got very normal results, mainly a mix of Iberia IA + Gaul IA (Possibly a proxy for the Western Hispano Celts since we dont have any samples from they) + Roman Imperial + Berber/NA proxy
The only "strange" thing in your result is u scoring Anatolian Ba, but must be some misread CHG or Natufian idk
Ik im not a full blooded iberian, but my euro side seens kinda similar to what u score, like mainly a mix of Iberia, France/Gaul, Roman/East-Med and Berber

Yes, it is because in Illustrative DNA the French samples are from individuals from Gallo-Roman period and Middle Ages. I always get a very close proximity to Gallo-Romans.

makes sense, i think they should add some Frankish samples too it would better for French people if not they will get weird results like high Germanic or Scando, but with Frankish samples in the France region i think would be better

There is always some variation. You can check this thread I did years ago, it has about ~80 Portuguese samples: https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?247121-Portuguese-K36-Similarity-Tool-Results

The difference between Castilla y Leon, Galician and Portuguese averages are minimal, any slight variance can make you closer to one over another. Castilians, Galicians, Extremeños, and Portuguese are part of the cluster "North to South West Iberia" (if we were to divide the Iberian Peninsula in different clusters it would be "West", "Central", "East" and "Basque"). My wife closest match is Galician for example.

Similar too. At least based on pool sample we have available, which admittedly for some regions in Spain it not as big as it should be but we have to work with what we have available. The closer you start going in the direction OF the Basque Country, the more it starts changing. Cantabria or even the East of Castille y Leon starts showing a higher level of Basque admixture.

No, we are two different nations. Portugal is preserving the Iberian paleto culture that Spain lost.

To be honest I wanted to see if the G25 coordinates that they generate would be different but they are 100% the same as the ones I've had for years from Davidski.

I was curious about that same thing. Was considering buying it because perhaps it would have small variation from my davidski coordinates which at times confuse me... Maybe I'll test that theory but for now the price tag seems hefty for telling me nothing that I don't already know
