He is more like a "proof" that there is such influence, because this look is more dilluded with most people. In other words, you can see the features with lots of people, but usually in combination with other (more ancien European) traits. I bet there is a light haired version of him somewhere, or a taller version.
I do know local people that look as "exotic", in family members on both sides an random people.
