Hi, i was using g25 and i observed a interesting thing, idk if its a bug or smth but its weird
Here we have the results of 2 averages, Basques and Serfadi:
Target: Basque_&_SW_France:Basque_Spain
Distance: 5.3163% / 0.05316258
55.8 TUR_Barcin_N
26.6 Yamnaya_RUS_Samara
17.6 WHG
Target: Libyan_Jew
Distance: 2.0744% / 0.02074377
29.2 Levant_PPNB
28.8 TUR_Barcin_N
13.0 Kura-Araxes_ARM_Kaps
11.2 Yamnaya_RUS_Samara
10.2 IRN_Ganj_Dareh_N
6.6 MAR_Taforalt
1.0 Yoruba
As we can see, pretty different right? Basques are Beaker-EEF derived while Serfadi are Natufian, CHG and Taforalt, so a individual which is half Basque/Half Serfadi must be 30% "MENA" = 1/2 of what a full serfadi score, right?
Target: 1/2Basque_1/2Serfadi
Distance: 3.2513% / 0.03251335
50.6 TUR_Barcin_N
21.2 Yamnaya_RUS_Samara
7.6 Kura-Araxes_ARM_Kaps
7.6 WHG
6.0 MAR_Taforalt
4.8 Levant_PPNB
2.2 IRN_Ganj_Dareh_N
how tf the MENA is just 20%??? If the expected for a half Serfadi its 30%? But ok, now lets see a 1/4 Serfadi ( which is expected to be 15% MENA, right?)
Target: 3/4Basque_1/4Serfadi
Distance: 4.0291% / 0.04029058
57.6 TUR_Barcin_N
27.6 Yamnaya_RUS_Samara
11.2 WHG
3.6 MAR_Taforalt
3.6??????? How thats fucking possible? Where the Araxes? Where the Natufian??
Someone can explain that for me? Or at least try create a theorie abt that, i discovered this when in a model Portugueses were begin modeled as ~20% Imperial Roman, and Imperial Roman scored abt half "MENA"
Target: ITA_Rome_Imperial
Distance: 1.3404% / 0.01340358
36.0 TUR_Barcin_N
24.2 Kura-Araxes_ARM_Kaps
20.0 Levant_PPNB
14.8 Yamnaya_RUS_Samara
4.8 IRN_Ganj_Dareh_N
0.2 MAR_Taforalt
But for some reason the portuguese sample which scored 20% Imperial Roman scores 0% Levant or Araxes, where this MENA did go? The expected is if the sample can be modeled as 20% Roman that samples must score so 20% of MENA that roman score right? (Hipotethically -> Portuguese Araxes + Levant = 20% x how much MENA romans score)
Or maybe im just dont understanding? Idk its just too confuse
