What is the significance of all our minor elements? I've been examining mine for some time now and am a bit perplexed with the variety of results I pick up from East Eurasia, SE Asia, NE Asia, and India. India seems to have moved up through the Pashtun (Afghan) peoples through the Dagestan area into my farming elements, while lots of the East Eurasian types and Oceania comes to me through the American indigenous peoples of arctic, northern, central, and southern Americas.

Re Iberia, I read the genetic similarity there amongst yourselves runs on a N to S continuum more so than E to W, so those with eastern (S or N or C) will share far more genetics with anyone else in the east than they would moving E to W. IE, if you have SE Iberian ancient roots, potentially my NE Iberian roots would be shared with yours, as opposed to those in Portugal or the west coast, or even central Iberian areas.

I'm curious to learn of the different groups from Morocco that influenced the genetic landscape there, as well as the other peoples who seem to have come and gone over the centuries and millennia there. I think the most archaic roots I saw on my DNA results went back almost 17k yrs there. I believe Iberia has the oldest human DNA in Europe on record at 23k yrs??? I think the Basque were prob the first real group of people living in Europe, but nobody seems to know where they originally come from, including their language, I'm sure you know. Apparently it's the only language in the world unrelated to any other.

Thanks for sharing. You look roughly 20-25% northern European on the ancient tests. Does that stay the same on the more modern tests?

How far back do they take your results do you know are they just looking at the last 600 years maybe I don't know.

It might be worth noting that the consistency on this unscaled data matches the illustrative DNA test for my Viking roots when I use my smaller 1.5 million snp imputed file it gives me 21% Viking and this one gives me 22% so they're very close I like the Illustrative results I think they're quite interesting and I think they look very accurate from what I know from other tests I'm just not always sure how accurate it is with lesser populations being calculated for example two populations versus unlimited populations obviously you get much different results
