And I'm talking about the British Isles as a whole(Scotland, England, Wales).

All of those examples could pass in western Scandinavia.

They all look Germanic mixed with Spanish.

The British Isles are quite unique in the fact they have been subject to numerous waves of migrations and there is no singular type.

Whilst this can be said of most european countries in the UK it is moreso.

Many can pass as Iberians, the same amount as Scandinavians, even more as French and Germans. I think the biggest overlap is with the Belgians. Genetic studies also prove this.

I did this poll before but let's see what the results of this one come out to be.

I think they can fit in any of the nations listed on the poll.

He probably feels how I do.. unsure to put Ireland when talking about the "British" since on one hand they are historically and genetically affiliated, but on the other hand many Irish want to be seen as separate and not grouped in with the UK.

that's a lot of baloney, British Isles is a geographical term. Being a British Islander doesn't make you a UK citizen.

How exactly Poles and Czechs overlap with Brits?

But he called the thread "The British" which means to have included Ireland would have meant to imply the Irish are Brits.

Some definitions of overlap include ALL of them at the same time, depending on how broadly you interpret the question (esp multiple choice ones).

My choices for the Top Three are: Irish, Belgians, and Dutch.

yes indeed. not suggesting otherwise. my only point is that this thread is wrongly proposed , and the questioning is inaccurate

Actually, when I used to live in England, Poles to some extent have overlap with Brits, especially English. If you talk like an English, dress like an English and the way you live like an English, no one would mistake you for foreigner. But people with sharp mind like me can spot Poles easily even far away from me and the difference is, Poles on average are more lighter and have more robust type than the average English who have higher percent of Atlantid and Nordoid input, long narrow faced, dolicephalic/mesocephalic types.
