Update of the "try to Catch up" ( Ancient greeks are Modern latinos lol )

I am here to bring you updates from MTA on the new samples that I shared earlier in this post:

now, the most curious thing is not the labels given by MTA, but to see in the genetic groups that very few people have given match but more curious, most of them are all modern latin people ( i.e. they have native american admix )

as you can see not many people have given match to these samples, and those who have are mostly latinos c:

Ancient Balkans + Ancient Asia Minor/Aegean coast
Carians 9.91%
Lydians 5.18%

Byzantine Empire 6.71%

All the rest is Ancient Roman and Medieval Balkanic/Central Euro. And just a bit of Phoenician/Amorite, less than 5% in total.

As for OP:
Latinos scoring Greek is strange but not the first time. There was a study claiming they found percentages of Greek DNA in the European/colonial part of the Pima people for example.

Recently i was getting some greek samples too in MTA

Well, in MTA Spanish use to be Illyrian or Etruscan so we can expect anything from that site.

They still are naming Vascones individuals from Celtiberian tribe of Beronii so better take it with a grain of salt.

Anyway the cM yo share with those samples are few maybe your distances to those ancient Greek samples are the closest you get among European samples but still distances to them should be greater than any real Greek person should have.

I mean that for the most part MTA worked with similarities based on Eurogenes K15, I don't know if now they really do an examination of the raw data that allows real comparisons of our autosomal results, and not based on basic tools that are in Gedmatch and that result very unreliable.

apparently they are asking for help to label these samples and add them to the g25 standard.

si tienes tambien muestras vikingas en mi caso , los alemanes Welser fueron los primeros colonos de Venezuela para ese entonces Klein-Venedig ( pequena venecia en aleman ) , en 1550 cosas cambiaron tanto en alemania como en venezuela pero eso es otra historia, ellos decian decender de basilius un general bizantino , posiblemente la razon por la cual de griego pase a romano y luego a vikingo de suecia se da dado que esos romanos bizantinos emigraron por la ruta comercial de kazharia hasta suecia . mi adn posiblemente llego a la peninsula iberica con los normandos y luego a las islas canarias igual que los normandos xd, depues de todo soy r-l21 c;

no , esas muestras son mis deep dives, y si lees bien los deep dive minoicos ( que soy de los 97% ) lo comparto entre mas de 3000 personas , pero los nuevas muestras giregas no hay mas de 150 personas dando match en la base de dato de indiviuos modernos de MTA , dado que solo 150 personas hacen match con estas samples en deep dive , lo curioso es que la mayoria estan en america... a diferencia del minoico c; ojala entiandas lo curioso del caso c;
