The old one Inflated me the British to 20% now seems better even to my Mother who was getting ike more than 30% if i remeber well and i didn't my Italian but 10% sardinian

I am less amerindian now, I got more Central-South Asian percentage and my SSA is less besides finally is from the West instead East.

Interestingly about the Iberian component, they detected to me Portugal instead Spain.

Tbh Idk what is their algorithm, but being a commercial DNA test I want to believe is something similar to MH DNA and Ancestry DNA.

Yeah, very likely the Southern Asian is "eating" your Amerindian (I don't have another explanation) but the point of tellmeGen is not the ancestry but the health report, still it seems little a little are improving the ancestry.

Funny thing. I got a message from them about updates. After signing I got result of my genetic diseases, carrier status etc, tens results. Then I pushed update button and all results disappeared, except admixture analysis. Their helpdesk said that I have bought nothing, only uploaded my data. Should not push that button.

Serbia, Montenegro and N.Macedonia even were not included in this test. :(

It make sense to get some southern components as Sardinian and Ashkenazi to "return" me south to Balkans, since Hungary and Slovenia shift me north from Balkans.

I do have indeed some Greek ancestry, however it's still weird as in my "Balkan Peninsula" already appears Greece. I guess it works more like Gedmatch...it takes from here, puts there and by the end you get an average that matches your ethnicity...

Hi beowulf I will necro for you since you sent me the thread :-) As I said before, they group 'Egyptian, Levantine and Arabian', which... should not be grouped. 'Turkish, Caucasian and Iranian' is also bizarre, I think the reason I am being given so much is that it is going heavy on the 'Caucasian'. Then the rest is an attempt to make sense of just being Levantine. But it is funny at least!
