ILLUSTRATIVE DNA "recently" added their "Periodical Ancient Ancestry Breakdown", but with that, they also updated their "Customizable Ancient Ancestry" calculator with all those rich samples, I was testing with some samples there and then I got the best results in a medieval calculator:
For this calculator I used:
France (AD 130–1400)
Iberian (AD 300–1200)
Byzantine Anatolia (AD 500–1100)
Insular Celt (AD 100–1000)
Levantine (AD 300–1300)
Arabian Peninsula
SSA & Amerindian
I tried every single Medieval combination I could, and I got the best the best results with these cateories.
Here are my results:

I encourage y'all to do the same for awesome results, just keep in mind to keep them in a similar time period. :thumb001:

Suposing that Iberian + French + IC should be my Christian Iberian ancestry and that Early Askhenazi + Arab + Levant is my Al-Andalus Elite/Soldier one looks very nice, looks like my MyHeritage results

Interesting! it does look nice, but it's interesting that, for the first time (I think) you didn't match North Africans (North African (AD 580–1160))! :eek:Some categories also give you specific results, if you click on them, like my Anatolian, which is Southwetstern Anatolian and the Arab that is Medieval arab, it's very good with that! BTW, the European Jewish works very well for Sephardics, as well, since they were basically the same at that time period, :thumb001:, also, did you match Nilo-saharan and Khoi-San? I'm sorry for too many questions, you're just so similar to me, that I have to ask.

Not necessarially, depending of what Iberian sample u are scoring can be just Imperial Roman or Phoenician, also if u are Panamian u prob have tons of Canarian ancestry, part of ur Guanche can begin eated by Levantine

Oh bugger, sorry, bloody hell ! I just realized that you wanted us to do a custom fit. I got a closer fit by throwing in a germanic sample and Celtic sample from the Iron age for Euros an Iron Age + Medeival model is probably best or the most smashing :
First model fit was :
Fit: 1.525 (Good)
New fit : 1.452 (Good) -- good enogh for me I am not going crazy autistic style to get it lower :
Germanic: (AD 700–1000) 30.0%
Insular Celt (AD 100–1000) 26.0%
Germanic (AD 100–630) 24.4%
Insular Celt (600 BC–AD 100) 10.4%
France (AD 130–1400) 5.2% (not unheard of in Southern England)
Armenian (AD 1030–1300) 4.0% (exotic strains from Cornwall or whatnot)

Looks really bad, actually.
You mixed medieval with Iron Age, very far away periods, along with other things.

If u have alr ur g25 i think its just 15 Bucks if im not wrong, but its just worthy if u dont have ur coordinates
U can have the same result just using the same samples in Vahaduo, or trying IllustrativeDNA calculator made by Ivorix/VikingMallorcaSpain which its simply amazing and will give u the same results for free https://www.exploreyourdna.com/calculateur/147/illustrativedna-like-ancient-calculator-ivori.htm

No more than 55%, taking into account models I've used that other people made and the ones I made myself.

There are considerably more ancient samples available on G25 which is always a plus when it comes to these things. As for accuracy, people say G25 is better for modeling with ancient samples regardless. But for measuring distance to modern populations gedmatch calculators are definitely better.

Berber and Phoenician is ok , i did like more iron age period because they have a boii sample IA, so my coords can split celt more continental from germanic tribes but another one like migration period seems to have more southern celts so my coords cant pull , iberia is a little bit low and ssa is a little bit high aswell , amerindian i think is a little bit high
