jigaxo, pretty to me means above average. Very pretty means women I'd have a child with and beautiful means the absolute best.

The first one looks very average to me. But the second one is really very cute.

Some can perceive the second one in a wrong way of not being pretty maybe because of her haircut? or is probably because they really don't find her pretty, but beauty is the eyes of the beholder, and to me she is very pretty (at least for my taste). The softer and more roundish the features of a woman are, the more feminine she looks to me, and the more attractive I think she is. That's my personal taste.
