Can this match be real?

Today i logged to My Heritage to see if me and family got any interesting new DNA matches and my grandmother got a close match to a Finnish person and it was very unexpected

and it's not the only finnish match she got but the others are less close to my grandma.

this finnish match and my grandma share another match wich is a Swede.

Finnish surname but from USA? The genetic link could be from anywhere and who knows when but it can be real.

Can you see her results?

The surnames of women in certain countries are not a good indication of their origin, you know if they are married many times they take their husband's surname, it is better to see their ethnic estimate.

no i can't see her results but yes the list of surnames of her tree and all of them are finnish and few swedish

Ok.

I think there are ways to check the veracity of the matches through some tools that MyHeritage offers, I haven't used them so I can't tell you how to do it, and I don't usually pay much attention to matches with a match of 0.7%.

I don't think they're real, I get two genetic matches in United Arab Emirates in MH and they are entirely MENA.
