The question is, are they ''typical'' *by the book* medditeranean in their looks?

The first one (3 pictures ) is Monica Belluci.

The second (4 pictures ) is Maria Nafpliotou.

I think of them as typical Medditeranean, and I want to see if they really are.

In my opinion, Monica is a combination of the two typical types of Western Med (so-called Atlanto and Gracile) plus the strong presence of a third element I can't really tell that makes her somehow different from what that combination would show in most of Iberia, and that I've seen mentioned by several people as either Alpinid, Dinarid or Pontid, probably because she looks somewhat different depending on the picture. I think she's from Central Italy.

Monica Belluci: Dinaro-Atlantid/Dinarid Mediterranid with Alpinoid influences.
Maria Nafpliotou: Atlanto-Mediterranid basically perhaps some Cro-Magnon tendencies.

Monica Bellucci is Atlanto-Med with minor Alpinid and Pontid influences (the Pontid is what made a poster above state that she would look slightly out of place in Iberia).

Maria Nafpliotou to me is Pontid with minor Dinarid.
