I got my father's coordinates a long time ago already but still can't figure them out.
My parent is mostly Polish with possibly some East Slavic admixture, the ancestors lived in what is now Ukraine, Vinnytsa Oblast.
Results are very Eastern European as expected but with a slight shift towards the unknown direction, which I want to know what it is.
By distance he is the closest to Slovakian average
Distance to: Dad_scaled
0.02124873 Slovakian
0.02562621 Moldovan_o
0.02881171 Ukrainian_Zakarpattia

0.04282361 Cossack_Kuban
0.04326841 Russian_Tver
0.04367924 Russian_Smolensk
On every calculator he gets a shift towards Slovakia / Bohemia ( Middle Age ) and I can't understand what could be the reason of such a shift. What type of ancient admixture?
When I delete Slovakian I get results like this. Despite looking weird they also have high distance, considering I got his coordinates using AncestryDNA raw data
Target: Dad_scaled
Distance: 2.6407% / 0.02640693
63.4 Ukrainian_Zhytomyr
28.2 Serb_Bosnia
8.4 French_Oïl_Normandy_Calvados
If somebody has an explanation for the results, please reply.
