I don't think that it is possible to tie everybody from "Soviet aristocracy" to Jews, exotic options without Jewishness are quite possible: an Estonian communist great-grandmother, a Turkmen great-grandfather, another Russian great-grandfather, but from an exotic group of Protestants

Genotek is a Russian company, my sister did the DNA there - 100% Russian, the analysis showed, although she and I are half Ukrainians. The decoding of the genotek is questionable. It is likely that the ancestors of the curly-haired liberal are Ashkenazi Jews, and Ashkenazi has many different admixtures
