Afghanistan?

The question is passes easily, not just as atypical. (I would even say the same for Latin America too).

Lol, everyone knows he would not pass in Japan. Nobody expects anyone to say that.
I only wanted to know about countries in Asia not North Africa.

There is no uniform definition of MENA. MENA term is used more often in USA probably than in UK. Normally MENA does not include Afghanistan, Central Asia. What Are The MENA Countries? - WorldAtlas (https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/what-are-the-mena-countries.html)

Asians in USA normally is used for Chinese, Japanese, Filipinos etc but in UK they are more often referred to as Oriental or Chinese etc.
That's why you are thinking of Japanese.

Asians in UK normally is used for Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Sr Lankan origin people. Sometimes Afghans perhaps but normally they are called Afghans as there are less of them in UK.

I live here now, but the Brits really need to update their racial terminology. Asian, for most people in the world, means Chinese/Jap/Kor/Filipino, etc. We really need a new term for Indians/Pak/Bangladesh/Nepal/Sri Lanka. Indians and Chinese are literally polar opposites physically so it makes no sense that they're in the same racial category. Also, Amerindian doesn't sound good to me, the word "Indian" really shouldn't be used in the Americas, Columbus messed up, and it's high time this is fixed for good.
