You dont really look like them, they are more similar to the stereotypical Turkish Turk. They seem like a mix of Armenoid + Asian Alpine + a bit of Turanid (Andronovo Turanid).

Passes in Turkey, Iran, Syria, Armenia, Azerbaijan (all of Kavkaz), and just a little bit in Afghanistan/Tajikistan.

You are more Central Asian than them, regarding phenotypes.

But I think the brothers are Andronovo-Turanid, not Pamirid Turanid. But they can be interchanged to be honest.

Not really.

Pamirids (Lets take plains pamirid as an example) are often more visible in Uzbeks and Uyghurs.
Andronovo-Turanid is visible in a lot of Tatars and even Uralids, and also definitely Turkmens and Anatolians with Turkmen ancestry.

If you mix Andronovo-Turanid with Armenoid, it wont really look like a Pamirid. Some people consider Andronovo-Turanid as Northern Pamirid, but I do think theres a distinction.

If 50% Aralid + 50% Armenoid would be Central Pamirid? hmm...probably not. I think 50% Aralid + 50% Armenoid is more something like Plains Pamirid (Uzbeks/Uyghurs etc.) and not Central Pamirid. If your grandma truly is 50% Aralid + 50% Armenid, then thats close to Plains Pamirid.

Central Pamirid is a phenotype on its own, but probably something like Transcaspian + Iranid. But in general its just its own phenotype so not necessarily a mix.

Ethnic/phenotypical difference in Plains Pamirid and Central Pamirid is that Plains Pamirid is often a bit more Turkic/Mongoloid, and Central Pamirid is a bit more Iranid.

Nope, not at all TBH...hes Asian Alpinid + Andronovo Turanid. Passes in Caucasus (armenia, azerbaijan, dagestan etc.), turkey etc.

Agreed (I do see a slight Turanid influence, but it could be interchangeable with Armenoid tbh...)

@TuranoTatar its interesting to see your phenotype and the phenotype of those brothers and your dad. Quite different from each other. Im sure your mom is more Central Asian looking.

Yup, mothers side is higher in Central Asian ancestry based on looks. You specifically seem to have even more Central Asian features. It happens a lot where two parents have mixed DNA, and one of the kids will get a phenotype thats stronger than their parents. Its the same with you. You look way more Central Asian than your parents. As I said, you pass in almost all Central Asian countries (except for Kyrgyzstan, you dont pass there).

Yes, significantly more. Its not an extreme difference, but you can tell your mothers side has more Central Asian influence.

He is indeed phenotypically Transcaspian.

Thats interesting. I'm Kurd with Central Asian roots, I look more Central Asian. Me and my little brother are also seen as foreigners quite a lot.
