What is your attitude/thoughts against humans with some genetic diseases/syndromes?

Do you know any?

She (Swedish) carries Klippel–Trénaunay syndrome

Understanding? I can't imagine anyone would have negative feelings for someone who is ill.

She's cute + her defects aren't visible.
Another question is how much they affect her life and self-awareness?
In any case, it's better to have three nipples than an blood incoagulability, isn't it?

It's interesting to look at her legs. This disease implies hypertrophy of the limbs. The girl is very pretty, sorry for her...But you can't show pity for the disabled - that's what psychologists say

I have a genetic disorder (Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) that reduces my ability to be a sufficiently strong human. I don't mind if people think I'm inferior because of it. It's an unfortunate fact of life that some people are genetically inferior to others, but it shouldn't impact the amount of respect we give others on a day to day basis. All I can do is try my hardest to keep my body in working order, and pray my kids either don't have it, or plan to give them sufficient support to reduce or mask the symptoms entirely.

As much I wish to think, I doubt all humans are not as humane and empathic as you are.

I also have a defect, appeared a couple of years ago - a beer belly. I'm on a strict diet now, but yesterday I got drunk again and was rude to you)

Be rude to me again and I will use my hEDS-afflicted body to creepily contort and crawl towards you like "The Grudge" in the middle of the night

How does your disease affect people's appearance?

How does your disease affect people's appearance?

It depends on how well-managed the joints are during puberty and the final ossification of the bone plates. I wear long skirts and dresses because my legs are kind of warped and twisted at the knee (I think "pigeon toed" is the term), but most people say I'm overly sensitive to the appearance of my legs, and that it doesn't look bad. I dunno. I have related dental issues (overcrowding), but I'm about to get braces sometime this month!

She (Swedish) carries Klippel–Trénaunay syndrome

How does she know she is a carrier? The condition is associated with variants of multiple genes including PIK3CA and AGGF1.

Via her legs.

I may not know anyone like that, because I strategically avoid them

So the phenotype of Klippel–Trénaunay syndrome is expressed? I thought you just meant that she carries the disease without presenting it.

Yes (it is visual).

She can hide it with suitable clothes but walking is not normal either. Still there are always someway injured people among of us (who are recovering), so I doubt nobody will pay (too much) attention on that either.

And you have been Admin here.for years, a decade? No doubt there are much nastier forums than this one, but still.
You'll need to know they exist.
