Hello just uploaded my raw data to this DNA company website and got some funny results:


Italy, Toscan 37.32%

Iberia 18.37%

England and Scotland 14.63%

Finland 12.73%

Sardinia 7.71%

France 0.76%

I'll say my iberian was confused by the Italian, at least the british percentage is very accurate and the finnish might be my east european?

No tienes que modificar el archivo, el archivo de tu raw data es un .zip le das click derecho al archivo y lo extraes, entonces tienes un archivo .cvc el cual tu sirve para subirlo a MundoDNA

Yes, and Im indeed selecting FTDNA everything correctly. but some how Is rejecting my file.

21.99% Iberia (also none)
15.81%Tuscan Italian (I guess maybe as part of her AJ?)
14.42% Finnish (Part of her Eastern Euro?)
12.07% French (Similarity to her Swabian admix?)
0.37% Sardinian (general Med-ness)

She does get 0.51 for her Sephardic index, which supposes that there is similarity. Again, probably just due to her having some Ashkenazi blood, which is similar.

As for my mother's mtDNA, it assigned her N1b1a2b. 23andMe gave her N1b1b. I assume that I should believe 23andMe over this? This isn't the first freeware upload that gave her N1b1a , however.

Exactly, they should update their categories for better results, but they have a sephardic index wich may interest you i posted mine in the first page of this thread.

Exactly, I also think I might have real Filipino ancestry FTDNA gave me no Asian but on gedmatch some calculators gives me Asian noises If I scored that on Ancestry I must have real Filipino ancestry too.

This Is why my credibility with gedmatch Is very limited, because like you said even Europeans score those noises and not only that but Ocenian too, seems Gedmatch overall likes giving people Asian and Ocenian noises.

Filipinos usually tend to have a small Euro (Spanish) admix to them. If a Filipino sample is mixed within the EA category and just happens to have an overlap on their Euro admix with you, it could generate such noise.

Yeah, i might have real Filipino ancestry so I guess you can say I'm genetically quadracial !!!! If AncestryDna Is able to detect at least 1% Asian than its most likely real since I do get Asian noises on gedmmatch .

gedmatch has my amerindian 34% on K36 and K15 and K13 35/36 which corresponds with FTNDA so I doubt It will change on Ancestry.

They are a new separate race so they shouldn't be lumped with Asians at least not completely since pure amerindians 20-30% of their DNA Is west eurosian ANE origin something that Is relatedable to Europeans.

Other freeware have only classified him as far as H3.

What’s funny is for the Ydna assignment, it gave my father simply R1.
