I personally don't use G25 simulated but I am about 49.7% Frisii. There is literally probably no group that is as extremely Germanic as that it is not like it is Bavarian so I guess it depends on the Germanic tribe too.

You are right. I have a sample collection of most polish users on TA. And I ran all of them in vahaduo. I am far above the average for Germanic now. Average is 8% and I am more than double.

Ofc they did. MH gave me their ethnicity estimate before I went for G25 coordinates. They gave me 50% Eastern European, 25% Baltic and 25% Scandinavian. I didn’t believe the results at first because my simulated coords were 100% Slavic. Now I got my real coords and they are almost same to the MH ethnicity estimate, so apparently they said the truth. (Unfortunately)

Maybe Davidski chancged something but previous PL average was very Baltic like/NE shifted and looked Mazovian. Peterska would score closer to Czechs than to that.

Maybe he added new samples since. But try Danish for Germanic input, German average has both Slavic and Celtic admix.

It's a shame that Polish regional averages still do not exist on G25. There are even Ukrainian averages but not for Poland.

Oh to add another observation: when we went to eat in nearby restaurant I noticed two extremely East Baltid looking older women who came to eat. Guess what, their car had Lithuanian licence plates

The ancient results are the same for all Europeans, the differences are insignificant. West differs from east in percentage of farmers. The south has a lot of farmers. The west is slightly smaller, the east has very few farmers. However, the source of farmers and steppe dwellers is different.

Yes, that’s so true. I have worked in Slovakia before and me and my colleagues kinda formed optically a group. We were Poles, Western Ukrainians (Lemberg, who are close to Austrians), Czechs, Slovaks, Northern Hungarians, Austrians, Germans and Slovenes. All of us looked either like a mix between Altantid and North-Pontid, Subnordid or they are just Western-Alpinid (not the Gorid version) which I would call the typical Central European look.

Yes, it looks like you have recent Deutsche ancestors, you're like 1/4 or at least 1/8 German. Maybe your Polish ancestors were already having 10% Germanic from Ostsiedlung impact or ancient East Germanic tribes but 20% is too much for a Pole and indicates a recent ancestry at the level of genetically fully Western European great-grandparent, at least.

They are close, as well as all western central and southern Russians. This is one population of people.

You can see below that WHG is almost halfway between ANE and ENF in terms of northern shift.

And the distance to Han Chinese is equal between ANE and ENF.

There is some kind of border for the Russians when they begin to be drawn north to ANE. Apparently, there was a substrate of the Finno-Ugric Merya people in this place.
