Nice result but there's no way I'm paying for that.

Have you done gedmatch (k13/K36) or G25?

Cornwall, which is the darkest county in England and an ancient Keltic linguistic stronghold, contains, like Wales, strong vestiges of a pre-Keltic population. That this is not a short Mediterranean variety, on the whole, is shown by the fact that the stature of Cornwall is relatively tall, and the mean cephalic index of the duchy not particularly low. A large-bodied, muscular type, with a head which is frequently brachycephalic, is common here, and must be attributed to the Bronze Age invasions. It has been claimed, without statistical evidence, that there is a special racial type among the fishermen and sailors who live in the seaports of Cornwall, Devonshire, Somerset, and South Wales, but especially in Cornwall. Besides having medium or tall stature, and a tendency to brachycephaly, they are said to be heavy-bodied, lateral in build, thick-necked, with features of a somewhat Armenoid cast, dark, curly hair, thick eyebrows, and eyes which are frequently brown.

..

Your result reminded me of the Scottish independence referendum. In your case however the Celts win in the end, by a small margin.

You have to pay them for G25 though, DNAGenics or Davidski is also an option however I don't know if Davidski still sells them G25 coordinates, can't remember.

If i remember well Illustrative DNA G25 coords are the same as Davidski's ones but the DNAGenics ones are different.

You have to pay them again to get G25 coordinates? That should be what the original fee is for.

If you have previously purchased the coordinates from Davidski, you do not need to purchase them again. It costs €18 to upload your raw data and €10 to upload your existing coordinates, so you pay €10 for their services and €8 for coordinates. I think it's a fair deal for people who are starting to learn about their autosomal DNA and also get their G25 coordinates at the same time.

Sorry, what ? I am like 35% so called 'celtic', but the celts never existed since continental Hallstat_bylany and and the English Iron_Age don't cluster together and Cornwall clusters more with SouthEastt England rather than anywhere in Scotland or Ireland. Also, the Frisii might be the most Germanic tribe that ever existed. Is it possible for a Germanic group historically or currently to be more Germanic ? I highly doubt it.

I'm afraid not. Is it worthwhile?

Gedmatch is free, so yes. Global25 you'd have to research for yourself whether you think it's worth it, but it lets you compare yourself to countless ancient and modern samples/populations.

Some random results, not surprising at all for my background. I'm excited for the update coming. Insights are welcome =)
