What is it? He is born in Russia , I assume to Russian parents who fled the Soviet Union when he was young. He lives in California now as a lawyer. He doesn't look proto Slavic to me.
I would never guess Russian, unless maybe his mother is something of Hispanic decent.

Slavs are not phenotypically homogenous and Turanid influence is found in Ukrainians, some Belarusians and Russians. Many Cossack descendants look like that, so the assumption he'd be beaten his laughable and deluded.

I meant to say Russians don't usually, I edited it before you replied. Poles and Ukrainians do. However many Old Testament names are not used by Poles and Ukrainians.

And yeah, in the Soviet Union people didn't follow those naming conventions anyways.
