Thank you. My ancestry is mostly from the United Kingdom and Slovakia with distant ancestry from France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Spain & Italy.

Thanks. I don't remember how long it took. Probably a few weeks.

Thanks. Yes and no. I expected about equal parts of English and Scottish. I'm a quarter Slovakian so I expected more Slavic. Ireland is a surprise because none of my ancestors came here from Ireland, unless they are counting Northern Ireland Ulster Scots. Don't know of any recent Norwegian either.

It is interesting that you got Scottish Lowlands, Northern England and Northern Ireland GC. How far back is your ancestry to that part of the world?

The most recent is a Great Great Grandfather who came from Northern Ireland in the late 1800s with his wife who was half Welsh and half English.

That's interesting to get a GC like that. Possibly you have a reasonable amount of Scots Irish ancestry from more ancestors. Anyway it is nice for an American to get a GC like that.

My AncestryDNA results changed from 30% Scotland to 37% Scotland.
