I am working on gathering information about the South Asian ancestry of Afrikaners.

Does anybody know whether domestic servants are part of the Dalit caste?
Could someone send gedmatch kits of (I prefer Dalit kits, or what else is the caste equivalent of domestic servants)
-Bengali people
-Tamil people from Tamil Nadu
-Malayali people from Kerala
-Kannada people from Karnataka
-Sinhalese people from Sri Lanka

Other low castes from adjacent Indian states are also accepted.

Almost every middle , upper-middle & upper class have domestic servants in varying numbers in urban India generally . Bearing ancient origins , it is a sort of free market employment now . Majority of them are women folk that seek this employment for extra source of income to better run families with husbands generally employed somewhere else .

As of their origin , all of them (atleast where I live i.e. North) invariably belong to as they say 'chhoti jaat' . Which necessarily means a Shudra / Dalit . But mind you 'dalit' , 'harijan' , 'SC' are relatively newer terms and some sources mention they aren't Shudra which I am doubtful of . I lean towards them being part of Shudra varna* only with different jatis traditionally engaged in various blue collar services in Indian context since ancient times . Eg. I have 4 servants - jati of 2 of them are 'mali' (i.e. one who traditionally curates lawn/gardens) & a 'jamadar' (i.e. one who traditionally clean washrooms) , other 2 are house cleaners with traditional background of landless tillers .

*mind you :

Varna = social identity based on broader class of service traditionally assigned to that Varna
Jati = social identity based on the particular service traditionally assigned to that Jati as per the Varna under which that Jati falls

(while that^ was the original idea eons ago but with time , it has been corrupted , twisted , diluted etc. etc.)

Here is a rare video of the god of Dalits btw :
