Northwest Caucasic and Northeast Caucasic theoretically belong to one big family Sino-Tibetan group that would make Sino-Caucasian, and Uralic and Altaic are together.

There must be a native language that you have learned since infancy. I only know Russian, I can switch and think in Ukrainian surjik. But these are very close languages, unlike German and Hungarian.

You did not grew up in a multilingual family. I have learned hungarian and german at same time since infancy. I use hungarian more often so i would say my hungarian is better, i dont know the german slang, but i know the hungarian slang.
I have talked with my dad in german, and with my mom or sister in hungarian. Together we used hungarian. In this summer i lived in Bayern for a month and after few days my thoughts/dreams were german. Now im in Budapest so my thoughts are hungarian again, but i can live in both country without any problem.
