I didn't know about his foreign ancestry. Despite being very dark, most of his features look caucasians, though.

A similar case to Vin Diesel, who when was young with his natural hair it was more evident his admixture, older and with shaved heads not as much evident.

To be completely honest I found both expressions absolutely distateful (octoroon, quadroon etc), I feel they are better suited to classify cattle, not human beings. At least the definition of "mulatto" has dignity (a person of mixed caucasoid and negroid ancestry)...but it might be just all in my head.

To be fair, most people that are classified as ''octoroon'' (10-15% SSA) are actually Quadroon (20-30% SSA), most real Octoroons often do not look visibly African admixed to the untrained eye. Just like people classified as ''Castizo-Criollo'' (75%-85% Euro) often are Mestizos and Harnizos, while people with 85% Euro blood and the rest Amerindian would be classified with only European and/or MENA phenotypes.

I believe that Pepa might be a Quadroon, but he could also be a very exotic full blooded Portuguese.
